Sunday Brunch in Bangkok is not just a meal, it’s a festive event. At Up & Above at The Okura Prestige, Bangkok the festivities include fresh shucked oysters, a fine selection of charcuterie, foie gras and of course, keeping with the hotel’s Japanese roots, an incredible selection of Sushi and Sashimi prepared in traditional and modern styles. 

The dining room is perfectly suited for family gatherings or intimate meals, all with crystal clear views of the Bangkok skyline. Guests can also choose to dine inside air conditioned comfort or outside on the unique terrace.

Fresh Oysters and Chilled Seafood

While the entire brunch set up is a feast for the eyes, the fresh oyster and chilled seafood station seems to draw the most attention. Don’t miss the mountains of fresh French, Austrian and US oysters along with Maine Lobster, Alaskan King Crab, Mud Crab and Prawns.

Japanese Selection

What’s your favourite fish? Here you’ll find Saba, Hamachi, Tako Unagi, and all the traditional offerings. If you’re looking for something more inventive, try the New Age Sushi which comes seared.

From smoked salmon to wild boar terrines, burrata to Wasabi goat cheese, there is plenty to choose from. The Okura offers international favourites from the west alongside heartier Arabic and Thai dishes. Be sure to try out the live pasta station, where chefs make fresh pastas and raviolis right before your eyes. We also recommend the a la carte menu which can be ordered to your table. This includes Foie Gras with Lotus Root and Ginger Jus, Half a Maine Lobster with Yuzu Beurre Blanc and Dutch Veal Loin with Ratatouille.

Dessert

Prices start from THB 2,300++ per person with soft drinks and THB 3,000++ with continuous-flow of selected wines, local beers, cocktails, soft drinks and mocktails.
