Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is prepared to cooperate with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) during its participation in the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) Universal Security Audit Programme Continuous Monitoring Approach (USAP-CMA).
Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo, THAI Acting President, said that THAI is one of the organizations concerned in a USAP-CMA audit which CAAT will participate and gave assurances that the Company is entirely ready for a security and civil aviation audit. Furthermore, the Company is prepared to grant full cooperation to CAAT for the new USAP-CMA audit.
The USAP-CMA will audit CAAT’s civil aviation security, which includes airports and air operators that operate in Thailand. THAI, Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI), and Airports of Thailand (AOT) have jointly established a task force to plan and take joint actions in preparation for the USAP-CMA, which will take place during 11-21 July 2017.
